Every citizen will receive a stimulus check based on the following:
- Most adults receive $1200 plus $500 for every child under age of 16
- Based on 2019 income or 2018 if 2019 tax return not filed yet
- Single Gross Adjusted Income (GAI) $75,000 or less will receive $1200
- Married with no kids $150,000 or less will get $2400 together
- Head of household Gross Adjusted Income (GAI) $112,500 or less will get $1200
- Descends from there based on income
- If you are claimed as a dependent you will not receive any payment
- Must have social security number
- Will be automatically deposited into your account by 4/17 if IRS has your bank information
- You can supply bank information on their site if you would like to
- Paper check will be received later
- People on SS or DI should also receive stimulus check
- Veterans and unemployed will get stimulus check
- No income tax will be due on this stimulus money
